Our story so far…

Danielle’s personal background is a story of overcoming adversity, hope, and perseverance which has shaped her into the beautiful person, wife, mother, and successful businesswoman she is today. The trauma she experienced as a very young girl, unfortunately, led to debilitating panic attacks. Then later, diagnosed with PTSD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Fibromyalgia, Danielle turned to painting as therapy. Painting brought Danielle life and refreshed her soul. It was a safe place where she could go to forget, create, and feel joy. Starting with old, unwanted furniture, Danielle had a knack for the ability to make it beautiful again. Like the mythological Phoenix rising out of the ashes, Danielle learned her art, her work, and her life can be rejuvenated and made whole. Danielle’s business has grown from refurbishing old furniture to painting everything from banisters and kitchen cabinets to 8,000 sq ft home interiors and exteriors. Danielle looks for the story of why a homeowner wants to transform their home and pours that into her work. Danielle believes that with the right colors, textures, and schemes, she can help homeowners find stability in an uncertain world by making their house feel more like a home. She views her work as a home transformation as opposed to the simple application of a coat of paint.

In 2012, Danielle met the love of her life, Daragh, with whom she is happily married. Daragh raised her children as his own and together, they have an 8-year-old daughter. Daragh was born in Dublin, Ireland, and moved to the United States at the age of 7. A decorated U.S. Army service-disabled veteran, Daragh served honorably on several deployments to Iraq and achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class before being honorably discharged. Although trained as an engineer, Daragh plays a big role in the business and is involved in most projects from start to finish. Whether it’s preparation work or administration, Daragh steps in and helps where he can along with their oldest daughter, Alyssa. Alyssa also contributes to each project and really makes this business a family affair.
